Kountry Road Kennel's Policy

Considerable consideration should be given prior to the purchase of a new puppy. Protecting our puppies and customers is of great concern. We ask that you strongly consider your decision to purchase a new puppy for no less than 10 days. Please use this time to educate yourself on the particular breed you have chosen. All breeds are not suitable for all lifestyles and environments.

Deposits are nonrefundable

Shipping via air is a service we cordially provide for the convenience of our customers, at customers expense. Commercial shipping of a young puppy can cause stress to the puppy. Kountry Road Kennel reserves the right to determine the puppy's physical and emotional fitness for shipping. It is our recommendation that puppies be picked-up at our facility or arrangements can be made to meet our customers at the Fort Smith, Arkansas Regional Airport. Most airlines allow puppies in pet carriers to be placed under the passengers seat. Please take into consideration all of the above before making your decision.

Microchips are implanted in puppy purchased from Kountry Road Kennel, for an additional fee. In order to assure proper identification of your puppy we can micro chipped your puppy. Documents for registering the microchip number, identifying you as the new owner of this puppy will be forwarded to you, by mail after the receipt of the puppy. In the unfortunate event your new puppy is lost or stolen a microchip can be very effective in aiding the safe return of your pet.

Spay or Neuter.
Spaying or neutering protects against unwanted puppies, house pets are easier to manage and males are less likely to wander. Spayed and Neutered pets make better neighbors. Consult your veterinarian concerning the appropriate age for the procedure, the potential risks and the added health benefits. If selling a puppy to another breeder, the breeder has to be USDA Licensed and Inspected. License must be in their own name.
